French Navigator and WISAMO Technical Consultant

The famous French navigator Michel Desjoyeaux has been involved with WISAMO from the start of the adventure. Passionate about sailing innovations and an all-round expert in the technical aspects of navigation, he is working hand-in-hand with the team to develop the inflatable wingsail.

How did you join the WISAMO project ?

Technology was what first interested me in sailing and I have been fascinated by navigation systems since I was 10. I contacted the inventors of the inflatable wingsail to offer them to test it on my boat. That's how I became involved in the WISAMO adventure.
