WISAMO technology uses the wind power to propel vessels. Adaptable to any kind of ships beyond 15 meters, WISAMO system may be used as a main propulsion or in hybrid mode providing a complementary energy to the engines.

An inflatable, fully retractable and automated wingsail suitable for Tankers, Bulkers, General Cargo, Ro-Ro and Passenger vessels.

INFLATABLE TEXTILE THICK PROFILE

WISAMO wingsail is inflated simultaneously with the mast hoisting. The inflation is provided by low pressure fans maintaining the symetrical profile with no distorsion because of impacts or wind. Robustness is guaranted.

A SELF-SUPPORTING TELESCOPIC MAST

Fully retractable, the mast is made of several sections, going up and down automatically. Entirely retracted it address existing port operations constraints, ensuring no obstacle for loading and unloading processes. It also enables to pass under bridges or navigation through canals for better agility.

SECURED AND AUTOMATED SYSTEM

The connected interface monitors the wingsail when hoisting, reefing or lowering. The interface is usable on a tablet or a smartphone to remain easy to use. In case of heavy weather, the wing automatically adopts a safety position and lowers offering no risk of windage. A manual mode remains also possible anytime.
